Xugana Island Lodge is situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, nestling under a canopy of wild ebony and garcina trees facing onto the tranquil blue waters of Xugana Lagoon.

While staying at our lodges, everything is geared around the best game viewing times. Days start very early, sometimes at sunrise and often finish late in the evening. This is to utilize the best times to view game – so often the middle part of the day is free for relaxation which is why a swimming with sun decks is provided at Xugana Island Lodge. Xugana Island Lodge is also equipped with a well-stocked libraries and comfortable lounges to relax in. Smoking is not permitted in our safari vehicles, but is allowed in sections of the lodge.

Early morning tea/coffee and a light breakfast consisting of fruit, yoghurt, toast, and cereals all served with freshly brewed coffee and tea.

Leave for morning activity, (approximately 3 – 4 Hours). (You will be advised as to the departure time by boat for those of you who are going to Camp Okavango / Camp Xugana from Camp Moremi or visa versa)

Buffet brunch is served in the Boma. Afterwards, your time is free for rest and relaxation, game viewing / bird watching from the lodges or time to enjoy around the pool.
